About the role
We want a writer who can take email conversion and data recovery topics and turn them into clear, well-structured content that ranks on Google and helps the reader. Our readers are IT administrators, legal professionals, compliance managers and enterprise users. They know the subject and can tell at once when a writer does not.
You will write blog articles, how-to guides, product documentation, user manuals and website copy for every Magic Soft product. You will work with our SEO Executive on keywords and search intent, and with the developers to keep every detail technically correct.
What you will work on
- Long-form SEO blog articles of 1,500 to 2,500 words on email conversion, data migration and PDF topics
- How-to guides and step-by-step tutorials for each product
- Product page copy that turns visitors into demo downloads
- User manuals, ReadMe files and in-software help text
- Press releases, partner program material and service descriptions
- Microsoft Store descriptions and update notes
- FAQ content with structured schema markup
- Content calendars, keyword targets and internal linking, with the SEO Executive
- Editing existing content for accuracy, clarity and SEO
Essential
- 2+ years writing technical content for a software, SaaS or IT company
- Explaining technical ideas clearly to non-technical readers without losing accuracy
- A solid grasp of SEO writing: keyword intent, heading structure, meta descriptions and internal links
- Clean English with natural rhythm and no filler or AI-generated padding
- Researching unfamiliar topics and checking technical accuracy before publishing
- Experience in at least one of: email clients, data migration, IT administration, legal technology or enterprise software
- A portfolio of published technical writing
Preferred, not required
- Hands-on familiarity with PST, OST, MBOX or EML formats
- WordPress or a similar CMS
- FAQ schema, HowTo schema and structured data
- SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush or Google Search Console
- Enough Windows knowledge to install the software and test a feature yourself
What success looks like
First 30 daysAt least two blog articles and one product page update published. You know the product range and our audience, and your drafts need little editing.
Within 90 daysA steady publishing rhythm, a growing body of indexed content, and a clear sense of which topics work. You suggest new pieces without being asked.

- Content briefs with target and secondary keywords, intent, heading structure, FAQ topics and internal links
- Structured data (FAQPage, HowTo, SoftwareApplication, Organization, BreadcrumbList) on product and blog pages
- Regular technical audits, and working with developers on broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content, page speed and Core Web Vitals
- The internal linking structure across the site
- Link building through software directories, tech blogs, IT publications and niche sites
- Listings on G2, Capterra, Softpedia, SourceForge and 50+ software directories
- Weekly tracking of rankings, organic traffic, click-through and conversions

- Technical SEO: crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, schema, canonical tags, hreflang and page speed
- On-page SEO: headings, meta tags, content depth and internal linking
- Implementing structured data and schema markup
- Writing briefs a writer can act on without much back-and-forth
- Link building in practice, beyond the theory
Preferred, not required
- AI overview (AIO) and answer engine (AEO) optimization
- Software download and review sites, and how to optimize listings
- Enough HTML and CSS to add meta tags and schema yourself
- SEO for a Microsoft Store or Google Play app
- Windows software and IT administration use cases

Position 03 of 03
Software Developer
- Engineering
- Full-time
- Remote

About the role
You will work on Magic Soft's Windows desktop applications, built on .NET. They process real data: PST and OST archives, MBOX databases, EML messages, PDF documents and VCF contacts, often holding years of business email for IT teams, legal departments and enterprises.
The role suits someone who cares about correctness. Email formats are complex and edge cases are everywhere; a conversion that drops one email or one attachment header has failed. If you write tests and dislike shipping code you are not sure of, you will fit in.
You will build features, fix bugs, improve performance and help create new products, owning each feature from design to release. The team is small, and your work goes straight to customers who depend on it.
What you will work on
- Windows desktop applications in C# on .NET 8.0
- Email format parsers and converters for PST, OST, MBOX, EML and MSG, including ANSI and Unicode variants, corrupted files and oversized archives
- PDF features with PdfSharp: split modes, merging, PDF/A output, bookmarks and blank-page detection
- Contact and calendar conversion for VCF, ICS and CSV
- Batch engines that handle hundreds of large files in one session without memory problems
- Handling of password-protected PST, OST and PDF files
- Unit and integration tests for parsing and conversion edge cases
- Performance on PST archives over 50 GB without excessive memory use
- The Windows installer
- Diagnosing customer-reported bugs on specific Windows versions, formats and hardware
- Design and build of new products
- Clean, documented code that others can extend
Essential
- 3+ years of professional C# development on .NET
- Windows desktop development with WinForms or WPF
- File I/O, binary parsing and low-level data processing in C#
- Strong debugging from crash reports, stack traces and customer descriptions
- Disciplined testing: you write unit tests and catch edge cases before users do
- Memory management and performance tuning in .NET
- Git
- Working independently and shipping without close supervision
Preferred, not required
- Email format parsing: PST, OST, MBOX, EML or MSG
- PDF libraries such as PdfSharp or iTextSharp
- MAPI and Outlook data storage structures
- Building Windows installer packages
- Unicode encoding, MIME and the RFC 2822 email format
Nice to have
- VCF, iCalendar ICS or CSV contact data
- Digital signatures, email encryption and S/MIME
- Microsoft Store packaged applications (MSIX)

What success looks like
First 30 daysYour environment is set up, you understand at least two products, and you have shipped a small fix or improvement.
Within 90 daysYou have designed, built, tested and shipped a meaningful feature on your own, and solved at least one tricky customer bug involving an unusual file.
Within 6 monthsYou contribute to architecture and new product scoping, and others come to you when complex format handling needs working out.
How to apply
Send your application to [email protected] with the subject line "Software Developer Application". Include:
- A short introduction: your background, what you have built and why Windows data conversion software interests you
- Your CV or LinkedIn profile
- A GitHub profile or code samples you wrote
- Any experience with email formats, PDF processing or data conversion
- Your availability and preferred working arrangement
